CERCADO SISTERS...
The Cercado Sisters compose of Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina, born in Santiago City, Isabela (Cagayan Valley). Four angelic voices in one perfect harmony. They were the 3rd runner-up of Ms. Kitchie Benedicto’s FamJam aired at Qtv-11 from November 2005- February 2006. They represented the Philippines in August 2006 at the 10th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts held in Hollywood, California participated by 43 countries. They competed in the Vocal Group (Junior Division) and entered in the Broadway, Gospel, Original Works and Pop/R&B categories. They bagged 16 gold medals, 4 outstanding plaques in all of the categories they participated in and on the Grand Finals Night, the Grand Star trophy which gave them the title as the 2006 Junior Grand Champion of the World for Vocal Group Division. Winning the title opened doors for many opportunities for the group for they were once a junior recording artist (which is one of their dreams) of Viva Records with their self-titled debut album with 6 tracks including their winning piece “Paraiso”.
They were invited to perform for a benefit show at the 2nd Monaco Film Festival in 2007 held at the Hotel de Paris, Monaco where the audiences were the crème de la crème of the society and royal families and the proceeds was given to the street children all over the world.

They Almira (IT graduate), Irene (Secondary Education graduate), Mylene (3rd Yr. IT) are the proud regular students and scholars of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (Quezon City) and Celina (3rd Yr. High School) of Bethel Christian School.

They are part of The Earth Savers Dreams Ensemble of The Kalahi Cultural Care Giving Program of Former-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo headed by Ms. Cecile Guidote-Alvarez.
The Universal Peace Federation awarded them as Ambassadors for Peace during the Global Peace Tour held at the Araneta Coliseum in March 2, 2009.
They were also invited to sing the Philippine National Anthem for various events such as, at the Championship Games of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), Malacanang, Senate of the Philippines and other government agencies.
Rendered the folk songs of the ambassadors (South Korea, Malaysia) who came in the Philippines as a simple way of welcoming them in Malacanang.
In July 2009, they were invited as guest performers at the 13th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts also held in Hollywood, California and televised for the first time all over USA.
During the 400 (Quadri-centennial) foundation years of Baler, they played as “Diwatas” (fairies) in a zarzuela of “Baler sa Puso Ko” held in Baler, Aurora in August 2009.
They were one of the Special Awardees at the 22nd Aliw Awards in September 2009 held at Mega Tent, Pasig City. Awarded by the Global Excellence – 2010 Asian Star Entertainment Awards as the Most Outstanding All-female Group held at the World Trade Center, Pasay.
Performed with Ms. Sharon Cuneta, Dulce, Sarah Geronimo, Rex Smith, Air Supply and John Ford Coley in their concerts.
